Hit cap impossible?

I just switched from fire to arcane yesterday. I used Rawr to do all of my reforging, re-gemming, re-enchanting, and swap some gear out that I still had. However, even going with everything that they suggested, this is the closest I could get (14.29%) to the hit cap... I'm wondering if it is just impossible to get there with certain gear combinations or if I'm missing some kind of reforge/gem posssibilty (without losing critical states... eg I really dont wanna use Stump of Time)?????????

Also, any missteps you see with my gear setup atm please lmk. I'm not sure how good of a job Rawr does but it seemed as if it was trying to do all the right things
imo replace your shoulders with tier asap, pick up the valor point necklace and wand, and start gemming for hit til you're capped. It does seem like it is impossible for some gear combinations and yours is one of them.
You're just at a gearing level where's there's not too many hit pieces available. I would suggest your next 2 VP purchases be the T12 chest and gloves as both of those pieces have a good chunk of hit.

However once you get your 2 piece bonus, keep your current pieces around and use those for dungeons and questing. The mirror image summoned will aggro onto anything nearby and doesn't seem to have a problem with pulling adds for you.
Also getting the VP ring would help, your current rings have 50 hit each and the valor one has ~160.

The valor and tier gear has a lot of hit, but remember as Arcane being hit capped isn't as important as being hit capped as Fire.

This is exactly what I plan on doing, since I have yet to win a shoulder token. I'm like 180 VP away from my chest. And I will get the ring shortly after and buy the wand when I can. Thanks
Need some new gear with the hit on it, bracers/ring/crafted gloves/rhyolith sword/BOE staff/ etc
Buy the 378 BoE VP bracers(15k or so on my server) that have hit/mastery.

The t12 chest will help. Possilby use the 353 hood with hit/crit(reforge crit) to fill in at the moment?

I run about 16.6%. Generally speaking, never gem just hit, as Arcane rates Intel higher than even missing more. Always make sure any gem has intel on it(note: it looks like you followed that advice already).

Tol Barad Hit trinket? Good proc on it.
Don't gem hit (unless it's for an intellect bonus).

It's better to be under the cap and using +intellect gems and ignoring socket bonuses in almost every circumstance.

Do take the other gearing advice given, though.
